MUSIC ‣ Mimoza Keka and Jovana Trajcheva Stun Audiences with Piano Four Hands

Mimoza Keka (left) had her first piano lessons at the age of five, continued studying piano at the Faculty of Music in Skopje under the mentorship of Professor Todor Svetiev and obtained her Master’s degree under the guidance of Professor Lilya Zilberstein (2017). She is member of the Association of Music Artists - SMUM Macedonia and of the Macedonian ensemble for contemporary music Contempora. Her performances range from solo recitals at festivals - New cultural wave (Skopje); Concerti del Tempietto (Rome,Italy); Akordeon Art Plus (Sarajevo,BiH); Francophone Festival Soleil(Sozopol, Bulgaria); Zlatna Lira(Skopje,Macedonia); Siena Summer Festival (Palazzo Chigi Saracini-Italy); Festival international de piano Jeunеs Talents(France); Autumnal Musical Festivities; Days of Macedonian Music (Skopje,Macedonia); concerts with symphony orchestras to participation in chamber ensembles and piano duo. She has worked with conductors such as Sasha Nikolovski-Gjumar, Sasho Tatarchevski. She was an active student of Accademia Musicale Chigiana studying under Lilya Zilberstein (2015-2017).


Jovana Trajcheva (right) began her musical education at the age of 7 studying under prof. Lyudmila Romanova, graduated and obtained Master’s degree in the class of prof. Nina Kostova (2017) in Skopje. She performed at the festivals Ohrid Summer Festival, Skopje Summer Festival, Days of Macedonian Music, Musica Viva, Autumnal Music Festivities,at the church of St. Sophia(Ohrid 2017)and outside of Macedonia-Rome, Ibiza, Milan, Cite des Arts- Paris. She performs with the Macedonian Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Le Fi Phi. Among her prizes: Third Prize: International Competition Slobomir, BiH (2013), ENKOR International Piano Music Competition (2016); Second prize: State Competition for Young Musicians-Skopje (2010), Polyphony Competition (2012,2013), International Competition Piano duo; First prize: Competition in honor of Chopin and Schumann (Skopje-2010). She is regular participant at the seminars of prof. Boris and Lyudmila Romanov. Currently she is a piano replacement teacher at DMBUC Ilija Nikolovski Luj.
