Our story

From music to movement, from creative practice to interdisciplinary exchange.

HorizonVU began in 2009 with a passion for music and a curiosity about the people, ideas and creative processes behind it.

Over time, that curiosity naturally expanded beyond music. Dance, movement, visual arts, design, performance and research became part of a broader conversation about how we create, experience and understand culture.

Today, HorizonVU Sound & Movement is an international interdisciplinary platform bringing together artists, researchers, cultural organisations and creative professionals. We explore the connections between artistic practice, academic inquiry and professional experience — creating space for conversations, collaborations and new perspectives across disciplines.

Through HVU Mag, HVU TV, our network and collaborative projects, we share ideas and practices that move between fields rather than remaining within traditional boundaries.

Our continuing collaboration with CABMR — the Center for Applied Business & Management Research — further extends this dialogue, creating connections between the arts, humanities, social sciences, research and professional practice.

HorizonVU continues to evolve, guided by the same principle with which it began: curiosity — and a belief in the value of bringing different people, disciplines and ideas into conversation.

Team
